Will CBD Show Up on a Drug Test?

Drug tests are meant to check the presence of schedule I drugs and compounds like Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). In the Agricultural Act 2018, CBD was excluded from this list of harmful drugs, and its detection in the blood or urine does not matter. However, don't be sure that your drug test will not flag positively if you are exclusively using CBD.

If the extraction methods are performed accurately, or the strain from which the extract is being sourced contains a significant quantity of THC, there are fair chances that you will fail the drug test. These tests are quite accurate and can detect 50 nanograms per milliliter of urine.

If you need to be cautious about the drug test, either for personal or professional reasons, it would be best to be very vigilant about choosing your CBD products. Go for a reputed brand offering high-quality products that also offers the Certificate of Analysis showing the presence and quantity of each ingredient.
